This arrangement was commissioned by the First Baptist Girls' Choir, Truro, Nova Scotia, Jeff Joudrey conductor. The first song, "Craobh nan Ubhàl", is a gentle tune that translates as "Jesus Christ the Apple Tree."it is written in 6/8 time, and the rhythms may take a bit of work. The second melody is a rousing chorus, "Cha labhair mi'n t-òran", which roughly translates as "You didn't hear that from me!" This second tune is quite easy. The Gaelic is repetitive and easy to learn. Pronunciation guide provided.
