A lovely, gentle melody. It was sung to folklorist Dr. Helen Creighton by William Riley of Cherry Brook, Nova Scotia, in 1943. The two flute parts can be played by any treble instruments, or optionally left out. A very easy arrangement, and will work very well for treble choirs of any age.
