The choral music at PMP is categorized, first according to the type of choir that is likely to be purchasing it (Children/Treble, Community/High School, and Advanced), and then according to general difficulty level for typical singers in each choral group type:

Easy: Likely to be learned within two or three rehearsals. Mostly diatonic melodies with simple rhythms.

Medium Easy: Easily learned within four rehearsals. Mostly diatonic melodies with occasional but few altered tones, and few challenging harmonies.

Medium: May occasionally contain more complex harmonies or rhythms that require particular attention.

Medium Difficult: Will likely contain complex harmonies and rhythms, odd melodic leaps, key changes and formal complexities.

Difficult (Advanced): Complex harmonies and melodic lines that include dissonances, rhythmic complexity, etc.
